C is for Ciao written by Elissa D. Grodin and Governor Mario M. Cuomo, illustrated by Marco Ventura has just been released by Sleeping Bear Press. 35paintings illustrate this 48 pages book, a detailed view of Italy from A (Aqueducts) to Z (Zabaglione); with a final recipe by chef Mario Batali.

Communications Arts recently honored me in their 49th Annual publication with my portraits of Boccaccio, Vespucci, and Brunelleschi. The illustrations were used for an advertising campaign for the Genio Fiorentino Festival in Florence, Italy.
